Waterleaf Residents are invited to attend our Spring Waterleaf Watch Meeting
Thursday, April 11th 2019 – 7:00 PM at the pool/amenity center.
Our goal is simple – “VISIBILITY”. The more people we have walking the community wearing our Waterleaf Watch T-shirts communicates a public message that Waterleaf has an active Neighborhood Watch program in place. According to many studies, this kind of visibility is actually a very big crime deterrent.
Some reasons to attend this meeting are:
• One, or more JSO officers will be attending this meeting and can answer questions about crime levels in our area
• We will have a representative attending from Allied Universal (our security company) who can answer questions about the security company’s function here at Waterleaf
• We will have a representative from Craig Airport attending. He will be confirming that there is no runway extension being planned for Craig Airport, and can answer questions.
• Learn about things happening in the surrounding community, such as info. gathered from attending Sheriff Watch mtgs. & CPAC mtgs. (Citizens Planning Advisory Committee)
• Most of our HOA Board members will also be on hand if you want to meet them
• If you decide to help our Waterleaf Watch team, you can pick up a free shirt at this meeting
Our Neighborhood Watch program can always use more helpers to keep our community safe from crime. So, if you like to take walks, or run, or ride a bike around the community, you can be part of the team by wearing one of the free T-shirts that we provide. There are no schedules or appointed times for participating. The more people who walk / ride around our community wearing these shirts, the more we discourage criminals from entering our development.

Note: The regular monthly HOA Board Meeting will proceed this meeting 6:00 – 7:00
